You must pay for LYNX assignments because LYNX (GLAXIS) charges each POS company a fee to do so. Along the lines of the NAGS license schema, LYNX charges a flat fee, per assignment, to the POS company who can then choose to mark up the fee or pass it along to you. The fee varies from each POS company; however, the average fee is $2.05 per assignment.
